I saw a UFO, can anyone explain it?

About two years ago I saw a UFO, it was about 15-20 feet above the ground and it was floating east. My dad saw it too, but he says,"He didn't see anything," But he really doesn't want to believe he saw it. I don't know what it was, but hopefully someone on this planet can explain it.
