World of Warcraft Rogue or Mage?

So basically I want to make a new alt. I have a Shammy and a Pally both 80+. But i wanna re-roll a goblin and I just want a fresh character. So I'm tossing up between a mage or a rogue. I have heirloom items for both, I'm not sure why but I do. So leveling probably won't be too much of an issue. But end game pve/pvp which one is better and more sought after for raids? and which one will i be able to continue to enjoy leveling and playing? and actually just more fun to play? Love to hear your opinion and why you think what you think. Thanks for the help.
